How we work

Where the dates come from

Every date comes from the organiser’s website or a public race calendar. The source is shown on the event page. 1757 events from 176 sources are currently listed.

Dates not yet confirmed by the organiser are derived from the previous year and marked as “expected”. Only confirmed dates go into structured data for Google.

Travel and accommodation

Stops, stations, campsites and motorhome pitches come from OpenStreetMap (ODbL licence), airports from OurAirports. Distances are straight-line to the start. For every site we link its Google profile where one exists, plus Google Maps directions. Maps are Google Maps and load only on click.

Affiliate links

Links to hotels, flights, car hire and insurance are affiliate links marked “Ad”. If you book through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. It does not affect which events we list or how we describe them.
